GOD'S CALL TO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
Five Fold Call
1. Love the Lord (Matthew 22:37) - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
2. Love our Neighbors (Matthew 22:39) - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
3. Go and Make Disciples (Matthew 28:19a) - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations . . . .
4. Baptizing (Matthew 28:19b) - . . . .baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
5. Teaching (Matthew 28:20) - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Our Mission:
Respond to God's call by Reaching Up, Reaching Out, and Reaching In.
Reaching Up -- To love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Reaching Out -- To attract people to Christ and His Church. Loving our neighbors and making disciples (Matthew 22:39 & 28:19).
Reaching In -- To develop Christ-likeness, baptizing and teaching (Matthew 28:19b & 20).
Our Goal:
To lead each individual through each door God has opened for us.

(Revelation 3:8) "....Behold I have set before thee an open door..."

Our Approach:
Assign focus groups to each of these open doors to plan, promote, and carry out ministry activities to lead targeted groups of individual through each door.
